Dragon's Back Race® at Kendal Mountain Festival

Join us this November at Kendal Mountain Festival to watch the Film Premiere of Behind the Scenes - The Berghaus Dragon’s Back Race, which tells the story of the 2019 event through the eyes of the event team. Follow the journey from their HQ in Kendal to Conwy Castle and onwards through Wales, as they venture to mountain peaks to place check points, move the event campsite through rural wales, and deal with incidents out on the course. Through all the highs and lows, it’s the dedication, energy and passion of the event team that really brings the race to life, making it a truly memorable and special adventure for all involved.

The film will be followed by a Q&A session with Race Director Shane Ohly, 2019 winner and previous volunteer Lisa Watson, volunteer medic Nikki Sommers and 4x Berghaus Dragon’s Back Race® finisher (1992, 2012, 2015, 2017) and volunteer Joe Faulkner.
